- Place corn on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on high for 2 minutes or until husks have softened. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool.
- Peel husks and remove and discard strands.
- Preheat barbecue grill on medium-high. Cook corn turning often, until slightly charred. Place on a plate and spread with butter and top with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan and chopped chives. You could also add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and horseradish cream for more zing.
